The Honestpage formula
Who you help → What you help them do → Proof → One next step
If your page does those four things, it will outperform a “fancy” page with unclear words.
1) Headlines that work
Pick one pattern. Keep it under 7–9 words if possible.
- I help {who} get {result}
- {Outcome} without {pain}
- Trusted {role} in {city}
- Simple {service} that just works
Examples
“Find Your Next Home Without Stress”
“Fast Laptop Repairs, Clear Pricing”
“Payroll Help for Busy Freelancers”
“Find Your Next Home Without Stress”
“Fast Laptop Repairs, Clear Pricing”
“Payroll Help for Busy Freelancers”
2) A bio people actually read (4 lines)
Use plain language. Avoid: “passionate, dedicated, world-class, synergy.”
Line 1: I’m {name}, a {role} in {city}.
Line 2: I help {who} with {specific problem}.
Line 3: Proof: {years / count / credential / guarantee / response time}.
Line 4: Best next step: {call / WhatsApp / email / book}.
Line 2: I help {who} with {specific problem}.
Line 3: Proof: {years / count / credential / guarantee / response time}.
Line 4: Best next step: {call / WhatsApp / email / book}.
3) Proof that doesn’t sound fake
- Numbers: “120+ jobs completed” / “500+ orders shipped”
- Time: “7 years in {industry}”
- Policy: “Upfront estimate before work starts”
- Speed: “Same-day replies” / “24h turnaround”
- Credentials: license, certification, membership (if real)
No proof yet?
Use process proof: what you do that reduces risk.
Example: “Clear scope first. No surprise fees. Simple updates.”
4) Service bullets (clear beats clever)
Write “what’s included” and “what you handle,” not vibes.
Good bullets look like:
“Same-day diagnosis + clear quote”
“Repairs, installs, and preventive checks”
“Documentation for warranty / insurance”
“Same-day diagnosis + clear quote”
“Repairs, installs, and preventive checks”
“Documentation for warranty / insurance”
5) CTAs that convert
- Book a 15-minute call
- Get a quick quote
- WhatsApp me
- Email me your details
- Schedule a visit
6) Link hygiene (keep it simple)
- Use 1–3 links max (more links = less action).
- Labels: Email, WhatsApp, Book, Website.
- One primary contact method is best.
Bad vs good (fast)
Weak: “Passionate professional delivering world-class solutions.”
Strong: “I help small businesses fix PayPal + checkout issues. Same-day replies. Email me your URL.”
Strong: “I help small businesses fix PayPal + checkout issues. Same-day replies. Email me your URL.”
If you want the easiest win:
Replace vague words with specifics:
who / what / where / timeframe / next step.
